1. Promoter
   This promotional competition (“Competition”) is organised and administered by Geeks On Call IT Support (Pty) Ltd, Registration Number 2008/065096/23 (“the Promoter”).

2. Competition Period
   The Competition opens on the published launch date and closes at 23:59 on 30 November 2026.

   Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.

3. Eligibility
   The Competition is open to:

• Registered businesses operating within South Africa.
• New and existing Geeks On Call clients.
• Individuals aged 18 years or older.
• Individuals authorised to enter into a legally binding Service Level Agreement (SLA) on behalf of their business.

  There is no minimum business trading period required to qualify.

  The following persons are not eligible to enter unless expressly authorised by the Promoter:

• Persons without authority to sign an SLA on behalf of the business.
• Businesses whose SLA application is declined by Geeks On Call.

4. How to Enter
   To qualify for entry, participants must:

• Sign a twelve (12) month Service Level Agreement with Geeks On Call IT Support.
• Commit to a minimum allocation of eight (8) support hours per month.
• Agree to the applicable hourly support rate of R700 per hour.
• Successfully complete the onboarding process.

  Each qualifying SLA constitutes one (1) competition entry.

  Businesses entering into multiple qualifying SLAs may receive multiple entries.

5. SLA Approval
   Submission of an SLA does not automatically guarantee acceptance.

   Geeks On Call reserves the right to decline any SLA application where, in its sole discretion, it determines that the proposed engagement is not suitable or commercially viable.

6. Cancellation
   Should a participant cancel their SLA before the completion of the twelve-month term:

• all competition entries associated with that SLA shall immediately become invalid;
• the participant shall no longer be eligible to win the Competition; and
• the participant shall remain liable for payment of all work completed and services rendered up to the date of cancellation in accordance with Geeks On Call’s standard pricing and contractual terms.

7. Prize
   One (1) winner will receive a professionally designed business website together with twelve (12) months of website hosting and maintenance with a combined value of R30,000.

  Hosting Package
  Twelve (12) months premium hosting including:

• High-speed international hosting
• SSL Certificate
• Enhanced website security
• Daily backups
• Website caching
• Image optimisation
• 99.9% uptime commitment
• Monthly website maintenance

8. Prize Exclusions
   The following are specifically excluded from the prize:

• Paid SEO services
• Google Ads management
• Google Ads advertising spend
• Domain registration
• Email hosting
• Branding
• Logo design
• Professional copywriting
• Professional photography
• eCommerce functionality
• Membership portals
• Booking systems
• Multilingual websites
• Third-party integrations
• CRM integrations
• Custom software development

  Any additional functionality requested outside the prize scope will be quoted separately.

9. Website Content
   The winner is responsible for providing:

• Written website copy
• Images
• Company information
• Contact details
• Any additional content required to complete the website

  Geeks On Call may edit, refine and expand supplied copy where appropriate; however, substantial copywriting services are excluded.

  The winner must supply all required content within thirty (30) days of commencement.

  Failure to do so may delay the project.

11. Project Timeframes
    The website project shall commence within thirty (30) days of the winner accepting the prize.

    The project should be completed within two (2) months of commencement.

    Should delays be caused by the winner, Geeks On Call reserves the right to charge additional project management or development fees.

    Should no meaningful communication be received from the winner for ninety (90) consecutive days, the prize shall automatically expire.

12. Additional Services
    Should the winner request:

• additional pages,
• advanced functionality,
• additional revisions,
• branding,
• logo design,
• copywriting,
• photography,
• AI functionality, or
• any work outside the prize scope;
  such work shall be quoted separately and charged at Geeks On Call’s standard rates.

12. Ownership
    Upon completion of the website:

• the client shall own all content supplied by them;
• Geeks On Call retains ownership of its proprietary development methods, frameworks, software licences and intellectual property;
• the website may be included within the Geeks On Call portfolio.

13. Hosting
    Hosting is provided for twelve (12) months only.

    At the end of the included hosting period, the winner may:

• continue hosting with Geeks On Call at the prevailing rates; or
• migrate the website to another hosting provider.

  Email hosting is not included.

  Domain registration is not included.

14. Winner Selection
    The winner will be selected by random electronic draw.

    The draw will take place on Friday, 4 December 2026.

    The winner will be notified via:

• telephone; and
• email.

  Should the selected winner fail to respond within seven (7) calendar days, a new winner may be selected.

15. Publicity
    By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that Geeks On Call may:

• publish the business name;
• publish the winner announcement;
• use photographs;
• use testimonials;
• showcase the completed website; and
• reference the project in marketing material and portfolios.

16. Prize Conditions
    The prize:

• is not redeemable for cash;
• may be transferred to another registered business at the winner’s discretion;
• may be used for either a new website or the redevelopment of an existing website;
• cannot be exchanged for other services.

17. Liability
    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Geeks On Call shall not be liable for any loss, damage, interruption, technical failure, or inability to participate arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

18. Privacy
    Personal information collected during the Competition shall be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

    Entrants consent to receiving communications from Geeks On Call regarding:

• their Competition entry;
• SLA enquiries; and
• relevant business technology news, offers and updates.

  Entrants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

19. Right to Amend
    The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, postpone or cancel the Competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control or where required by law.

20. Acceptance
    Participation in this Competition constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
