The MC200CM is designed to convert 1000BASE-SX fibre to 1000Base-T copper media or vice versa. The MC200CM is a media converter to comply with IEEE802.3ab 1000Base-T and IEEE802.3z 1000Base-SX standards and is intended for the use of multimode fibre optic cables with the SC -type connector. The MC200CM supports the shortwave laser (SX) specification at full transmission speed. It operates at 850nm for both transmitting and receiving data.
