The Aqara Smart Video Doorbell G4 provides comprehensive front-door security and smart home connectivity. This device functions as a high-definition video doorbell and a Zigbee 3.0 hub via its included indoor chime, connecting your Aqara sensors and devices. A key feature is its support for Apple HomeKit Secure Video, which ensures your video recordings are encrypted and stored privately in your iCloud account. The G4 also includes on-device AI for facial recognition, allowing for specific notifications and automations based on who is at your door, with all processing done locally for improved privacy. Installation is flexible, with options for battery power or connection to existing doorbell wiring (12-24V AC or 8-24V DC).
